President Message for the month of March 2019

Dear Friends of Rotary and Fellow Rotarians,

On behalf of RC EClub of 3310, we would like to to thank all our donors, volunteers, Friends of Rotary and Fellow Rotarians for your support and participation in Rotary Family Day Singapore 2019@Toa Payoh Central Community Club.

A summary of key milestones and achievements for the month of February are as follows:

1. RC EClub of 3310 attended the District Fellowship CNY Lo Hei Dinner at 翡翠阁@Singapore Swimming Club with fellow Rotarians from various Clubs in Singapore.
2. On 21st Feb 2019, an additional cataract surgery for 100 people in Indramayu Sukra was done successfully. We had completed 700 cataract eye surgeries (from original 500) under our Gift of Sight Indonesia 2018’s Global Grant.
3. Our club participated in the project showcase and assisted in organizing the Rotary Family Day 2019 @ Toa Payoh Central Community Club on 23rd Feb 2019.
4. We had a delegation of 10 members who attended World Peace and Understanding Day Dinner @HolidayInn Atrium in conjunction to celebrate 114th Rotary Anniversary. Our GOH is Her Excellency Barbara Plinkert, Ambassador EU to Singapore.
5. RC EClub of 3310 ‘Lo Hei’ Lunar New Year Potluck Dinner@Ching’s Residence. Thank you PP Ching for a wonderful host and all the yummy & scrumptious food & drinks contributed by everyone.
6. CP BS Chew and Pres Richard visited RC Tanglin on 18th Feb at the invitation of Pres Robert Sabaka to share about our Gift of Sight signature project and to explain the intricacy of Global Grants.
7. We welcome Rtn Juho Laakkola as our 40th member. He comes from a family of Rotarians in Finland.
