Dear Friends of Rotary and Fellow Rotarians,
On behalf of RC EClub of 3310, we would like to to thank all our donors, volunteers, Friends of Rotary and Fellow Rotarians for your support and participation in World Speech Day Singapore 2019 to make it another impactful and meaningful event to our community .
A summary of key milestones and achievements for the month of March are as follows:
1. AG Shirin & President Richard Ong attended RC Kampong Gelam Provisional Charter Meeting @ Mamanda on 2nd Mar 2019.
2. Under the guidance & leadership of CP BS Chew and PP Vicky Soo and active participation of our members, we organized and participated in the WSD Singapore 2019 with our partners WSD Singapore and YMCA. Rotary and Rotaract featured prominently at WSD Singapore 2019,a delightful opportunity to showcase the Rotary Movement at this global event where more than 100 countries in the world celebrated speeches and speech making. The speakers were encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas on making A Better World as Global Citizens.
3. A total of 35 ITE College East Rotaractors participated and assisted in organizing WSD Singapore 2019. Two of our ITE College East Rotaractors took the top two spots at Youth Showcase Public Speaking Contest
4. RC EClub 3310 Fellowship dinner @ Newton Circus with Rtn Lisa-Marie Schäfer who was back in Singapore for a short trip.
5. PP Vicky Soo hosted Rotaractor Dennis Evashenk from RC Illinois Club District 6450 during his visit; also had fellowship dinner together IPDRR Rytha & Rtn Shao Xian at Newton Circus.
6. RC EClub 3310 with a team of 10 members attended the 29th DISTAS and the Governor’s Banquet Dinner @ KSL.
7. Project Sunshine Kids jointly organized by RC Straits View Johor and RC EClub of 3310 to bring fun, joy and love to the wonderful kids @ Hospital Sultan Ismail. An impactful & successful community service project.
8.CP BS Chew and Pres Richard Ong attended Orbis Charity Gala Dinner @MBS. Orbis is the result of a unique alliance forged between medical and aviation industries. Today they are better known as the flying (and teaching) eye hospital. Check out www.orbis.org
9. CP BS Chew contributed 1 PHF towards Autism project under Global Grant with District 3300. It is to fund the Train the Trainers programme in Malaysia.
10. Our club inducted 3 new members and welcome Ning Pei, Arun and Ruby to our Rotary Family. Our club membership now stands at 43!!!❤️
