The aim of this Public Image Contest is to help promote the District and Rotary’s image. Congratulations to the three clubs, namely, Rotary Club of Tawau, Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl, and Rotary Club of Kuching Central. The winners will take part in the Zone contests. In January 2022, Rotary E-Club of 3310 kick-started Project Jolly Together with the aim to reach out to children and youth with adverse family circumstances at Boys’ Town and Melrose Home in Singapore. Boys’ Town at Upper Bukit Timah provides youth with opportunities to socialize, learn strategies and skills to cope with their trauma and lives. They depend on Public and Corporate donors to fund their activities which include Psychological Therapy and Assessments for learning difficulties, ADHD, Anger Management, Stress, Depression, Trauma, and Emotional Regulations. Melrose Home at Boon Lay provides a Home-away-from-Home for vulnerable children and youth coping with adverse family circumstances, family violence, or child neglect issues. They offer care and guidance for their residents through a holistic approach – Cognitive, Physical, Emotional, and Mental Development. For January 2022, 55 Bento (Western), 50 desserts and cakes were delivered to Boy’s Home.
