President’s Message for December 2024

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

November has been an incredibly busy and rewarding month for our club! We celebrated the FRCS Fundraising Night, an extraordinary event that brought many of our members together in the spirit of service and camaraderie.

A heartfelt thank you to AG Vicky Soo, Rtn Lai Chan, and Rtn Hock Chong, who were members of the organizing committee and had worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success. Vicky’s exceptional skills as the auctioneer truly stood out, delivering remarkable results. Hock Chong kept the evening lively and unforgettable as the Emcee. Special gratitude went to Rtn Foo Lai Chan for her generous donations and to all our club members who attended and contributed. Though we are a small club, together we created a significant impact!

In addition, November saw our club sponsoring a lunch for the children and parents at Gracehaven Home. It was heartwarming to witness their joy as they shared precious moments together. Our members also visited them to conduct vocational sharing sessions, fostering inspiration and learning.

Looking ahead to December, we are excited to welcome DG Dr Yap Lip Kee for his visit. I am eager to present our club’s goals, strategies, and ongoing projects, which reflect the incredible efforts of our members. We also have our Year End Gathering to look forward to —thank you to AG Vicky for organizing what promises to be a festive and memorable evening.
