President’s Message for February 2025

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful start to 2025, and I am excited for all that we shall accomplish together in the months ahead.

January is always a significant month for our club as we elect our new Board of Directors. I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to President-Elect Gracy Yap and the incoming Board for the 2025–2026 term. Gracy has been a dedicated and passionate Rotarian, and I have no doubt that she will lead our club with vision and enthusiasm. I look forward to her presidential year and to see the club continues to grow under her leadership.

This January, our club came together to support two meaningful initiatives — the Chinese New Year dinners for the residents of GraceHaven Home and Swami Home. These gatherings were made possible through the generosity of our members, and I want to express my deepest appreciation to Rtn Cindy Yen and Dr. Doris Ang for taking the lead in organizing these efforts. Seeing the joy on the faces of the residents truly reminded us of the power of service and community.

Looking ahead to February, we have the honour of hosting our District Governor Dr Yap Lip Kee during his official visit to our club. This is always a special occasion, as it allows us to share our progress, seek guidance, and align our efforts with Rotary’s broader vision. I encourage all members to attend and take this opportunity to engage with our DG on 13 February 2025.

As we move forward in the second half of the Rotary year, let us continue to serve with passion, build stronger bonds, and make a lasting impact in our community.
