President’s Message for March 2025

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

As we reflect on February’s activities, I am filled with gratitude for the energy and dedication our club continues to demonstrate. Here are some highlights and updates:

1. District Governor’s Visit & CNY Celebrations
We were honored to host District Governor Dr. Yap Lip Kee and First Lady Rachel during their official visit. Their insightful guidance and shared vision reinvigorated our commitment to Rotary’s mission. The event also provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Lunar New Year together, fostering fellowship and cultural unity among members.

2. Rotary’s 120th Anniversary
February marked Rotary International’s 120th anniversary, coinciding with World Understanding and Peace Day. This milestone reminds us of Rotary’s enduring legacy and the extraordinary impact of our collective efforts. Let us draw inspiration from our pioneers and continue building bridges of compassion and service in our communities.

3. Service Projects in Action
– Happy Meal Project: Ongoing support for those in need continues to thrive. – CNY Outreach: We delivered festive dinners to Swami Home and Gladiolus Place, spreading joy during the Lunar New Year. – Active Aging Centre: Many members volunteered at the Rotary Active Aging Centre’s CNY event, connecting with seniors in meaningful ways. – Monthly Rotary Moment: Our commitment to providing meals for Gracehaven’s children remains steadfast. Thank you to all who contribute to these heartfelt initiatives.

4. Upcoming March Meeting
Join us on 13th March as we welcome PP Ching Kwock Wing as our speaker. His wealth of experience and Rotary wisdom promises an enriching session. Invite guests to attend and share in the spirit of fellowship!
